TICUA Hall of Fame Spotlight: Lane College Graduate Donald Hollowell | | | | | U.S. Army Veteran, Ground-Breaking Civil Rights Attorney, Presidential Advisor Inducting Institution: Lane College Donald Lee Hollowell led a life of unselfish service to others and became a knowledgeable citizen of the world. His life’s work represents Lane College’s core values and mission to transform lives, liberate minds and souls and celebrate excellence in Christ. While studying at Lane College, Hollowell found his purpose, pursued his passion and goals, and developed his leadership qualities. Before arriving at Lane, Hollowell served six years in the U.S. Army in the original Buffalo Soldier regiment. Hollowell’s education propelled him to become the premier civil rights attorney in Georgia. Over the next several decades, he used his talents in the fight for civil rights and made history in the process. |
