TICUA Institutions are key to preparing future teachers to educate our Tennessee students. In fact, in the last 5 years, TICUA institutions have awarded more than 13,000 degrees in the education field. We rely on Cumberland’s teacher preparation programs to produce exceptional candidates for all grades and speciality endorsement areas.  In the past they have provided important endorsements for our faculty and staff, filling a need in the Pre-K and English as a second language (ESL) areas in particular. Often, these are at no cost to our district which is a big help to us.”
