TICUA Students Benefit from the
Tennessee Student Assistance Award

TICUA recognizes the importance of the state’s need based Tennessee Student Assistance Award (TSAA) and the difference it has made for our low income students. Twenty-four percent of Tennessee undergraduates attending TICUA member institutions receive TSAA. TICUA supports Governor Bill Lee’s budget that would allow an additional 5,700 students to receive the TSAA by increasing the required family income for a family of four to $44,000 (up from $30,000). .
