Tennessee's private colleges and universities cost 26% less than peer institutions across the country. 

According to the College Board report “Trends in College Pricing, 2018,” the national average published tuition and fees at independent 4-yr institutions was $35,830, $9,258 higher than the average tuition at a TICUA institution.
