TICUA Member Institutions Make College Affordable
Sources of Grant Aid for First-time Freshmen

Although students at TICUA member institutions benefit greatly from
federal programs like the Pell Grant and State aid programs like the
lottery scholarship and the Tennessee Student Assistance Award,
80% of the grant money received by first-time freshmen
enrolled at independent colleges and universities is provided
directly by the institution.
